The period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was the first period of great prosperity in the history of the development of literature in the Han Dynasty,and it was also the first period in the history of the development of the Han Dynasty and even in the history of the development of Chinese Confucianism.From the time of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty,Confucian classics formally entered the country’s ideology and became the exclusive official scholarship in China for nearly two thousand years.It has had a huge impact on the development of literature.This article focuses on the literature of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty,and takes the classics of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty as the clues.By investigating his literary creation,literary style and literary thought,this article explores the close relationship between literature and classics of this period,and explores the meaning of classics of literature at this time,shows its unique value of the times.The thesis is divided into four parts:The first chapter explores the relationship between literature and Confucian classics in the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty.First,define the object of research:the connotation of literature in the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty,and clarify the different meanings of "literature" in this period from pure literature in later generations.Introduce the general situation of the development of Confucian classics in this period,and on this basis,to grasp the coherent relationship between literature and Confucian classics,and analyze the special significance of literature and classics in the historical process of Han Wu Emperor.The second chapter starts from the perspective of literary creation.It first discusses the major changes in the subject of literary creation from the perspective of literary changes under the background of the Confucianism era,and then deeply explores the new changes in the literati’s creative consciousness.The prevalence of classic consciousness and narrative consciousness strongly influenced the development of literary creation in the time of Emperor Wu of the Han.Quoting from classics and arguing based on classics became a very characteristic way of literary creation in this period.The third chapter starts from the angle of "Great Unification",the core of the theory of Confucian classics in the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty,and analyzes the influence of the idea of "Great Unification" of Gongyang Studies in "Chunqiu" on literature.The tradition of interpreting the classics for practical use under the link of Confucian Classics has promoted the formation of a pragmatism-based style of literature.Dong Zhongshu’s "literary quality","neutralization" and other classics concepts have gradually evolved into theories that guide literary creation.Gongyang’s concept of "the distinction between Chinese and barbarians" dominated the era orientation of literary creation in this period.Under the background of "great unification",the function of literature focused on the praise and satire of politics,and the strong political pressure also had a certain impact on the mentality of literati.The fourth chapter starts from the perspective of "heaven and man thought",the Confucian thinking mode of Han Wu Emperor,and explores the internal rationale of the great unification and the thought of heaven and man,and clarifies that the thought of heaven and man is the knowledge background of the era that was widely recognized in the time of Emperor Wu of the Han.Then it analyzes the influence of the thought of heaven and man on the literary structure and characterization of "Historical Records",and analyzes the connotation of the thought of heaven and man.The ideology of heaven and man has also greatly influenced the literary quality of Han Dafu.Sima Xiangru’s "Da Ren" and"Emperor’s Travels" are the most representative works of Han Dafu.The theory of interaction between heaven and man also promoted the extensive literary writing of auspicious imagery in the literature of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty,and gradually implied the basic literary category of "the integration of things and human" and "the unity of nature and man" in later generations,which had a huge impact on literary theory.
