The Study And Analysis Of Chinese Characters In The Works Of Russian Sinologists

This work is devoted to the study of Chinese characters in their cultural and historical aspects,through the applied sciences,such as neurophysiology,psycholinguistics and comparative linguistics.The purpose of this work is to deeply analyze the scientific results of a study on Chinese characters done by Russian scientists,among them are I.Bichurin,P.I.Kafarov(Palladiy),V.Vasiliev,M.Malyavin,E.E.Zhukova,T.A.Amirova,V.S.Kondrashevsky,V.M.Alekseev,O.O.Zavyalova,M.V.Bereznyak,Sanzhiev B.N.,and others.The importance of this work lies in the fact that Chinese characters are examined through several interdisciplinary subjects,in particular psycholinguistics,and involving deep analysis of the origin and development of Chinese characters,as well as analysis of the cultural and linguistic features of the Chinese characters.This study involved four primary research aspects,including the influence of the function of large parencephalons and thoughts of transmitters of language on the characteristic features of their language and,in particular,to the written language.In addition,this research focuses on the study of Chinese characters in cultural and historical aspects,and the basic stages of development and formation of the Chinese written language.Another important value regarding the development and formation of Chinese characters from the point of mythology and historical analysis has been considered.Furthermore,comparison of research results from the study of the Chinese written language from different points of view and approaches was undertaken.This paper includes five parts.The first chapter introduces how the features of the Chinese characters are examined in works of the Russian scientists.Their works examine Chinese characters in linguistic,cultural,historical and psycholinguistic aspects.The second chapter presentes a brief review of the basic points of view and results of research of Chinese characters by Russian scientists.The third chapter deeply analyzes the research results and theories of the Russian scientists on the different aspects of Chinese characters.The fourth chapter introduces and analyzes the recearch results on Chinese characters by Russian scientists.It also estimates their Chinese characters’recearch results and basic conceptions of the already mentioned Russian researchers.The fifth chapter evaluates and discusses the Russian scientists’ recearch results and pointing out their advantages and disadvantages.Moreover,it indicates the scientific and practical values of their results.Finally,it considers the scientific and practical values of Chinese characters’ results of study by the Russian scientists.
