A Study On The Practice Of Movement Vocabulary Choreography Of National Folk Dance Works

Movement vocabulary is a general term that constitutes dance movement language.It is not only the basic element of dance creation,but also the important basic material of dance creation and dance research.The creation of movement vocabulary is a required course for every choreographer,which reflects the professional creation ability of choreographers,and also shows their subjective aesthetic thoughts and consciousness of objective social life.There are many kinds of folk dances in our country,with obvious differences in their style and form of movement vocabulary.As a result,how to create a movement vocabulary that is not only national,contemporary,but also personalized deserves every choreographer’s efforts to solve.Taking the creation of individual degree dance performance as a case study,the author analyzes and summarizes the practice of the choreography of the movement vocabulary of the folk dance works in western Hunan,in an effort to create the dance works that not only have the national characteristics of western Hunan,but also show the spirit of the times and meet the aesthetic needs of the public.`The thesis is divided into three parts.Firstly,proceedingfrom the concept of movement vocabulary,this paper analyzes the categories and features of movement vocabulary in national folk dance works.Secondly,taking individual degree dance performance as an example,this thesis analyzes and summarizes the choreography practice of movement vocabulary of ethnic and folk dance works in western Hunan.Thirdly,rethinking the choreography practice of the movementvocabulary of the national folk dance works,and summarizing author’s reflection after the choreographypractice.Based on the study,the conclusion part respectively analyzes and summarizes the "life-oriented","dance-type" and "structure-oriented" movementvocabulary choreography practice of national folk danceworks.In the reflection after the practice of choreography,it is concluded that the choreography of the movement vocabulary of the folk dance works should conform to the theme,keep the style of the nationality to which it belongs,and grasp the relationship between the part and whole.
