| Consonants are an important part of Chinese learning for foreign students from Thailand.As a foreign student from Thailand,they often make mistakes when learning Chinese consonants.In order to further study of the errors made by Chinese phonological acquisition of the students in Thailand,Thai students acquisition of acoustic experiment analysis of errors produced during the Chinese initials,combined with interviews further analysis of the subjects the Thai students Chinese phonological acquisition causes of the errors,eventually making the corresponding teaching strategies,aims at providing a Thai Chinese teachers initials in Chinese teaching with teaching Suggestions for reference.This study first,from the perspective of the Chinese consonants phonetic experiment material,using Praat speech analysis software for five Thai students of audio material to carry on the detailed analysis aims,the Thai students with the language of Chinese students,comparing the spectra to discuss differences between China and Thailand students in Chinese consonants,the further research on the Thai students in Chinese phonological acquisition characteristics of bias.By comparing the spectrograms of Chinese and Thai students,we found that the possibility of Chinese consonant pronunciation mistakes made by Thai students from highest to lowest is rated as:"x,s,f,r,ch,p,h,sh,q,1,k,j,b,c,zh,m,z,d,t,n,g".In the stopper,Thai students are likely to pronounce the unaspirated stopper into aspirated stopper.On the one hand,it is common for Thai students to confuse Chinese consonants with Thai consonants.On the other hand,fricative and stopper are tough to master for junior learners.As affricate,Thai students are easy to confuse Thai consonants with Chinese initials,as well as aspirated ones and unaspirated ones.Finally,the Thai students master the border pronunciation better。Based on the phonetics experiments and interviews of Thai students,we find that the main reasons for the Chinese consonant errors of Thai students are:the negative transfer of mother tongue,the generalization of target language knowledge,and the Chinese teaching environment in Thailand is not conducive to efficient Chinese teaching.In view of the characteristics and causes of the errors in the acquisition of Chinese consonants by foreign students in Thailand,this paper puts forward some teaching strategies for Chinese teachers in Thailand.First,we should focus on the sounds that are in Chinese but not in Thai.Second,students should be guided to distinguish between similar sounds in Chinese and Thai.Third,encourage students to pronounce bravely and strengthen practice;Fourth,we should emphasize the position and method of Chinese consonant pronunciation in the teaching process. |
