| With the prevalence of training agencies,the number of teachers at training agencies has highly increased.And the novice teachers at training agencies are special in this group.At the present stage,the researches on training agencies are mostly focusing on its markets,faculties and its effects on social economic development.At the same time,the researches on the teachers’ inner attitude and emotion are always taking teachers from public school as participants.All these phenomena show that researchers are not attaching enough importance to teachers at training agencies.But these teachers do play a more and more important role in education.It is necessary to do researches on them."Professional identity" is an important branch of "identity".Professional identity is the embodiment of workers’ cognition,emotion and value evaluation of their own profession.The level of teachers’ professional identity is of great significance to teachers in their work.It directly affects teachers’ understanding,enthusiasm,expectation and investment in the industry they are engaged in,which needs to be highly valued.This study first defines the concepts of identity,professional identity and teachers’professional identity,and divides the complex theme of teachers’professional identity into six dimensions,which are professional awareness,professional emotion,professional volition,professional skills,professional expectations and professional values.This paper selects three novice teachers from different backgrounds in Shenyang as the research participants,and makes an in-depth investigation on the development of their professional identity.In the research,the three novice teachers’professional identity is presented by narrative research,and the current status of their professional identity is analyzed.Based on the description and analysis of the three novice teachers,it is found that their professional identity is relatively high in general and the conclusions are as followed.The first is that the formation of the professional identity of novice teachers is a dynamic and complex construction process,and the reasons for the change of the professional identity come from many factors.Second,because of the difference between their own development process and the current field,novice teachers’ perception of the status of professional identity also reflects the diversity.Third,because of the particularity of the novice teachers’ identity,their professional identity is also unique.The author then concludes that the influencing factors in the changing process of the professional identity of novice teachers at training agencies mainly include teachers’personal cognition,the management pattern of training agencies,salaries,the parents of students and the society.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions to improve the professional identity of novice English teachers from the aspects of teachers’personal,training agencies and social environment. |
