| As one of the representatives of traditional Chinese auspicious patterns,the pattern of "Surplus year after year" is the symbol of seeking one’s fortune and good luck in national culture,which displays Chinese culture and aesthetics.Elements such as fish,boy,and lotus,as the important content of auspicious patterns,fully display the auspicious concepts and still maintain the artistic characteristics and cultural connotations keeping pace with times.This article mainly focuses on the traditional pattern of "Surplus year after year",providing an overview of its historical origin and development process,in order to explore the spiritual connotation of traditional pattern.Through the analysis of the shape and color characteristics of the "Surplus year after year" pattern and the summary of its application in contemporary art forms,this paper explores the artistic characteristics of the traditional pattern visual symbols.Through the redesign of traditional patterns,this paper attempts to explore a new way of pattern expression in terms of shape,composition,and color matching.This paper combines the creation of patterns with the relatively new domestic wool felt craftsmanship,and strives to explore new ideas for the expression of traditional patterns in the context of the times,and also provides a certain reference and theory for the better development of traditional culture support. |
