Study On The Change Of Banner Boundary Of Horqin Left Front Banner

The Horqin Left Front Banner was established in the first year of Chongde in Qing Dynasty(1636),and was abolished in 1949,after 313 years.The change of flag boundary is an important part of the study of Mongolian national history and geography.This paper mainly discusses the initial flag boundary and its changes from the aspects of the establishment of wicker border,the setting,reclamation and governance of the royal pasture for raising interest and grazing in Horqin Zuoyi Qianqi,and then expounds the process of its disappearance.In this paper,the history and geography of Horqin Left Front Banner are taken as the research object.By using historical and geographical documents and related map data in Qing Dynasty and Republic of China,combined with investigation report,government gazette and field investigation,the problems of administrative establishment,flag boundary,reclamation,mountains and rivers,temples and so on of Horqin Left Front Banner are discussed,with emphasis on the initial area and flag boundary changes of Kezuo Front Banner.This thesis is mainly composed of four parts: preface,text,conclusion and references.Among them,the preface briefly explains the significance of the topic selection,research status,basic historical data,research methods,paper innovation and so on.The text is divided into three chapters: The first chapter is "Formation and Development of Horqin Left Front Banner",which briefly describes the origin of Horqin Left Front Banner and the historical context attached to Qing Dynasty.Secondly,using the historical documents and map data of Horqin Left Front Banner,the flag boundary of Kezuo Front Banner is preliminarily discussed.The second chapter is "the flag boundary changes of Horqin Left Front Banner",which respectively expounds several flag boundary changes caused by the construction of wicker border,the establishment of royal pasture and the reclamation of counties in Kezuo Front Banner.The third chapter,"The disappearance of Horqin Left Front Banner and the textual research of related place names",firstly,expounds the disappearance of Kezuo Front Banner,and secondly,makes textual research on mountains,rivers and temples related to the change of flag boundary of Kezuo Front Banner.The conclusion part is a summary of the full text.
