| With the development of society,many jobs cannot be done solely on the basis of individual ability and talent.The society needs compound talents who have the spirit of cooperation and the ability to cooperate.Enhancing the awareness of cooperation and improving the ability of cooperation are the voice of this era and the requirement of social development.The cultivation and development of talents are inseparable from education.Therefore,strengthening the cultivation of students’ awareness of cooperation and the improvement of cooperation ability have become the focus of education reform.In the compulsory education stage junior high school English curriculum standard(2017 edition),it is pointed out that teachers should guide students to actively cooperate with others in group activities,help each other,and jointly complete teaching tasks.As an important teaching method,cooperative learning is loved by the majority of English teachers.The author summarizes and organizes the literature on cooperative learning that I have read,and applies it to the English classroom teaching of junior high school,aiming to solve the following two problems raised in this paper:(1)What effect does cooperative learning have on the English learning effect of junior high school students?(2)How to use cooperative learning more effectively to improve the English learning effect of junior high school students?First of all,this article specifically analyzes the relevant theoretical research of cooperative learning,such as the definition,characteristics and elements of cooperative learning;at the same time,the author sets certain limits on students’ English learning effects based on relevant literature data,namely by observing students ’ language skills,Cooperative learning ability,autonomous learning ability,and changes in emotional attitudes evaluate the learning effect of students,and expound the research on the influence of cooperative learning on learning effect at home and abroad.The author selected 108 students from two classes in Grade 8 to carry out cooperative learningteaching experiments.Among them,four classes are controlled classes(control class(4classes))and seven classes are experimental classes(experimental classes(7 classes)).The author established an effective cooperative learning classroom model in the experimental class,guiding the students in the experimental class to help each other in the group and complete the learning tasks together.Finally,using testing methods,questionnaire surveys,interviews and other methods to analyze and compare the changes in English language skills,cooperative learning ability,autonomous learning ability and emotional attitudes of the two classes of students,in order to explore whether cooperative learning can improve students’ English learning effect.On this basis,according to some of the problems that students showed in the cooperative learning classroom,the author proposed a series of countermeasures to make cooperative learning more effective in the junior high school English classroom.The research found that cooperative learning can improve students’ learning effects to a certain extent.The application of cooperative learning strategies can improve the traditional classroom students’ low enthusiasm for learning,unclear learning motivation,and always passively accept knowledge problems,and improve students’ awareness of cooperation.Through the application of cooperative learning strategies,students,as masters in the classroom,think about themselves and share opinions with other students.The implementation of cooperative learning can optimize students’ interest,sense of participation and self-confidence in English learning,and can also improve their listening,speaking,reading,and writing skills,as well as their independent and cooperative learning capabilities.In order to give full play to the advantages of cooperative learning and improve students’ learning effects,teachers must actively change their roles and focus on the cultivation of students’ autonomous and cooperative abilities;students,as the main body of cooperative learning,must actively participate in group activities and make Better integrate yourself into the classroom of cooperative learning. |
