Interpretation Of Historical Materialism On The Concept Of A Community With A Shared Future For Mankind

The concept of community of shared Future for mankind is the human wisdom put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping on the basis of inheriting and developing Marx’s Genuine Community thought,aiming at solving the worldwide problems in the new era and improving the international situation of China,realizing the sustainable development of all countries and the all-round development of human beings.Despite large quantities of relative studies having analyzed the concept of community of shared future for mankind,there are few researches conducted based on the perspective of historical materialism to strengthen our understanding of the internal relationship between the concept of community of shared future for mankind and the connotation of historical materialism,provide scientific methodological guidance for the construction and offer solutions to global problems.From the perspective of Marxist historical materialism,this paper comprehensively analyzes and discusses the development of the concept,the objective conditions for its emergence and the pursuance of the value it contains.Firstly,the formation and development of world history provides a historical preparation for it.With the establishment of the nation-state and the formation of the concept of state,the narrow mindedness and prejudice from clan history disintegrated.The discovery of the "new continent" and the widespread use of steam and electricity has broken the limitation of one certain region,thus bring forward a new perspective.From the history of the clan to the history of the nation-state,then to the formation of the world history dominated by capitalist countries,the world is increasingly linked into an organic whole.A history of a community of shared future with all mankind is coming to us.Secondly,economic globalization is regarded as the material premise for the thought.The development of productivity and the deepening of international division of the labor contribute to the formation and development of the world market.Commodities have been circulating around the world,and the level of economic cooperation and integration among countries around the world has been greatly increased.The rational distribution of productions in the world needs to be guided by the concept of a community of shared future for mankind.Thirdly,the development of the worldwide socialization provides a realistic base for the formation of the thought.The innovation of communication tools and communication methods contributes to the diversity and expansion of the subject,space and content in communication.Due to the low levels of productivity in the early days,human beings once living on collecting and hunting,had a strong dependence on nature,and communication within kinship acted as the main form of communication at that time.In the period of agricultural production,with the development of agricultural technology and human language,the gradually accumulated wealth and convenient communication tools make it possible for the same continent or even the cross-culture communication between different continents to interacat freely.In the 21st century,with the support of information and network technology,communication level has been greatly expanded that,to some extent,reduces the cost of communication and meanwhile improves the universal communication between individual subjects.On the basis of the real world,the Internet has built a virtual world of universal communication,offering a realistic basement for the generation of the thought.The universal values of pursuing human’s all-round development endows the thought with a historical mission.The root of the development of human civilization lies in the all-round development of human beings,in their needs,in their personalities and their practical abilities,that is,the all-round development of social relationship.Only by adhering to the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind,we can truly promote the all-round development of human beings and realize human liberation.
