| As a subtype of crime films,prison-themed movies have always had their own unique charm.It contains some elements of crime films,but always maintains their own uniqueness.When they met,it also reflected the aesthetic pursuit and artistic characteristics of Hong Kong’s local culture.Especially since the "Prison" filmed by Lin Lingdong in 1987,the creation of prison-themed movies has entered an unprecedented period in Hong Kong.During the prosperous period,although the golden age of Hong Kong movies was ending at the time,prison-themed movies were extremely hot during that period,which not only reflected the movie watching needs of the fans at the time,but also showed the Hong Kong film industry’s role in film and television creation.Aesthetic pursuit.This article takes Hong Kong prison theme movies from 1987 to 2000 as the research object,and conducts an in-depth study and analysis of Hong Kong prison theme movies in this period,combining aesthetics,narratology,and film theory to explore the aesthetic characteristics of related works.The article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background of the selected topic,the existing research results of the academic circles and the research significance of this article.The second chapter first sorts out the development of crime films and prison films,and secondly studies the causes and development of Hong Kong prison-themed movies.The third chapter analyzes the 1987-2000 Hong Kong prison-themed movies from the aesthetic characteristics of the theme and narrative.Taking the three themes of "resistance","jailbreak" and "love" as the entry point,combining the narrative structure and narrative of the film Research on clues and narrative spaces.The fourth chapter takes the viewing and listening of Hong Kong prison-themed movies as the research object to reveal the importance of viewing and listening aesthetics in the film.The significance of this article lies in exploring the reasons behind the counter-cyclical development of Hong Kong prison-themed movies from 1987 to 2000,and the study of the aesthetic characteristics of Hong Kong prison-themed movies.It will help to explore the aesthetic trends of movie audiences in the new era in the future. |
