| Folk culture is an important part of Chinese culture and an important component of second language acquisition,which is related to learners’ learning effectiveness and cross-cultural communication skills.Textbook is the main source of knowledge in the process of second language acquisition,which has a guiding role for learners to learn Chinese.The selection of folk culture elements in the textbook plays an important role in improving learners’ intercultural communication skills and gaining a deeper understanding of the spiritual core of Chinese culture.This paper analyzes the characteristics and shortcomings of the folk culture factors that appear in the textbook and puts forward constructive suggestions,taking the 3rd edition of the Chinese Course as the object of study.Chapter 1,Introduction,introduces the reason for choosing the topic and the research object of this paper,outlines the research results on folk culture in Chinese language textbooks for foreigners,and lists the research methods of this paper.Chapter 2 describes the role of folk culture factors in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,covering the definition and classification of folk culture and the importance of folk culture factors to Chinese language teaching.The third chapter,according to the classification of folklore in this paper,counts and analyzes the folklore cultural factors in the Chinese Course book by book and summarizes their writing characteristics.Chapter 4 addresses the shortcomings of the folklore cultural factors in the Chinese Course,and proposes corresponding suggestions for the compilation of the folklore cultural factors in the Chinese Course from three aspects: text,notes,and exercises.In the concluding part,this paper is summarized and its shortcomings are pointed out according to the contents of the chapters and the actual textbook. |
