Chinese is an analytical language,and many grammatical meanings need to be expressed through function words.Adverbs are also the largest category of function words.From the combination features of adverbs,some adverbs have fixed positions,while some adverbs have flexible positions.In the process of acquisition,native English learners are prone to negative transfer of the mother tongue,overgeneralization of the target language and learning strategies,which lead to word order errors of adverbs as adverbials.Therefore,the acquisition of adverbial word order is also a grammatical item that is difficult for native English speakers to master in the process of learning Chinese.This paper studies the word order errors of adverbial adverbials in Beijing language and culture university HSK dynamic composition corpus from the syntactic position.Meanwhile,according to the classification of "adverbs of degree,adverbs of mood,adverbs of time,adverbs of way,adverbs of range and adverbs of negation",this paper analyzes the errors in word order of learners in different categories by comparative analysis and discusses the causes of the errors.Finally,the author puts forward some teaching suggestions based on the causes of the errors of the acquired adverb word order.The introduction part of this paper introduces the reason of the topic,the significance of the topic,the research object,the source of the corpus,the theoretical basis and research methods as well as the related research review;The first part introduces the basic situation of Chinese adverbs and English adverbs,including the definition and classification of Chinese adverbs and the basic situation of English adverbs.The second part mainly studies the adverbs as adverbial errors in the writing of native English learners collected from the corpus,and conducts a detailed analysis according to six categories of adverbs,among which it is found that the adverbs in the range have the largest number of errors in the word order.The third part is an overall analysis of the causes of the errors of native English learners,which are mainly influenced by negative transfer of mother tongue,over-generalization of target language and learning strategies.The fourth part is to put forward teaching strategies for the causes of the above errors,including two aspects of classroom teaching and teachers themselves.
