Due to social belief and other reasons, the tomb art prevailed in the Han Dynasty, and a large number of Fuxi and Nuwa images appeared. The images of Fuxi and Nuwa show a process of dynamic evolution according to the regional differences in different periods, which is not only a problem of image evolution, but also reflects the change of ideas and beliefs. The academic world has made a lot of discussion on the Fuxi and Nuwa drawings of different shapes and forms in the tomb art of the Han Dynasty. In fact, there are many implications among the various images.Although the themes of the images are different, the connotation of the images is relatively uniform, that is,the soul belief.Among the many images of Fuxi and Nuwa, one is worth paying attention to,that is,the hand holding pattern of Fuxi and Nuwa.Although there are many studies in the academic circle, the research on such issues as Fuxi and Nuwa and the connotation of rules is relatively isolated and one-sided,and has not formed a more perfect and systematic discussion so far.In the existing research, there is a big gap between scholars’ views on Fuxi Nuwa’s rules in the Han Dynasty tomb art,and there is still a lot of space and research value for the connotation and significance of Fuxi and Nuwa’s rules. In this paper, from the perspective of iconology, the Fuxi and Nuwa figure in the Han Dynasty tomb art is summarized, and its holding rules are discussed, and then analyzed to explore its meaning and connotation. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the origin and meaning of Fuxi and Nuwa’s image, and focus on the hidden meaning and soul belief of Fuxi and Nuwa’s image.
