| In today’s world, there are more and more voices advocating the protection of women’s rights.Women are active supporters and devout believers of religion.Looking at the history of religion and women,we can find that the relationship between the two is so close. This is not only because about fifty per cent of the world’s parishioners are women,or women account for a considerable proportion of the population in the areas of influence covered by religious legends, but also because women have played a very important role in the origin and development of religions. In view of the close relationship between religion and women,it is very important to study the view of women in religion. This paper takes the religious scriptures of Hebrew and Islamic religions as the research object, makes a comparative analysis of the views on women reflected in them, and probes into the similarities and differences of the views on women in the two religious scriptures,so as to provide reference experience for our modern society to better pay attention to women groups. This article is divided into five parts. The first chapter of this article compares the setting of women’s status in Hebrew and Islamic religious myths and finds that both Hebrew and Islamic religions regard women as the complement of men and set them in the second sex position. The second chapter of this article compares the content of women in Hebrew and Islamic religious scriptures: the content of religious scriptures is inseparable from the writing background, and the social reality at that time is more or less reflected in the scriptures. The third chapter of this article compares the deeds of model women in the two classics.Women in the Hebrew religious classics are mostly embodied in the aspect of fertility;women in the Islamic religious classics are more involved in religious and social affairs. The fourth chapter of this article expounds the influence of the female outlook embodied in the two religious myths and religious classics on the religion, law, society, family and other aspects of women in the two ancient societies. The last chapter of this article analyzes the reasons for the similarities and differences in the views of women in the two classics.Through the comparison and analysis of the female view in the two religious classics,Islamic and Hebrew views on women are similar, and both are narrative views under the male mainstream value system. The classics are written from a male perspective and serve men.As the mainstream system, male discourse constitutes the main narrative language of the classics. The emergence of Islamic religion was later than the Hebrew religion. It inherited and developed some of the ideas of the Hebrew religion in the religious classics, and realized the transformation of the social subject from male to female, and brought the disadvantaged group of women into society. As the main body of society, more attention and protection are given. |
