| In the development of global cultural exchanges,Hong Kong films are the pioneers of Chinese films,and kung fu films are the most national films of Hong Kong films and even Chinese films.In the early 1970 s,Kung Fu superstar Bruce Lee wrote the word "Kung Fu" into Western dictionaries,which is enough to prove the popularity of kung fu movies all over the world.The sudden death of Bruce Lee and the long-term pattern of production made Hong Kong martial arts films fall into a weak period,and the creation of his hero image also produced some kind of identity anxiety.In the middle and late 1970 s,Kung Fu Comedy broke through the bottleneck of traditional kung fu movies,solved the cultural identity anxiety of kung fu movies,and provided a reference idea from traditional to open modern,which has a more characteristic significance of the times.This paper chooses "the cultural identity of hero image" to cut into the research of Hong Kong Kung Fu comedy films.From the academic perspective of comparative observation,with traditional martial arts and kung fu movies as the reference,this paper embeds the inner thread of the image evolution from the traditional perfect hero to the hero of Kung Fu Comedy,and more comprehensively analyzes the hero characteristics and differences of Kung Fu Comedy movies.This paper first analyzes the cultural identity construction context of the hero image in Hong Kong Kung Fu comedies,and then excavates the performance strategies of its cultural identity,such as the shaping of hero subject,the change of fighting weapons and fighting space,etc.,so as to restore the construction path of hero cultural identity in a more three-dimensional way,and explore the structural generation mechanism behind it,which may provide some reference for the creation of current kung fu movies significance. |
