Since the eighteenth of the party,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized "telling Chinese stories well and spreading Chinese voice." It is the glorious historical mission of literary and art workers in the new era to tell Chinese stories well and promote the Chinese spirit through literature and art.In 2022,the 24 th Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics will be held in Beijing.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: “The Beijing Winter Olympics is a major landmark event at an important historical node in my country. An important opportunity to invigorate the national spirit." As a major sports country, telling sports stories and spreading sports culture is a necessary part of telling Chinese stories and moving from a sports big country to a sports power.Sports documentaries are an important carrier of "telling sports stories," and how to create excellent narrative works has become a topic that requires in-depth consideration. This article is based on the Beijing Winter Olympics approaching and my country’s urgent need to tell Chinese sports stories. From the perspective of narrative theory, this article uses the theory of narrative form to explore the key to telling sports stories-how to transform actual events into stories.Question, select my country’s first CBA league official sports documentary "Dare to Dream and Dang",which is very excellent at the narrative form level,as the research object, using case study and content analysis, with narrative form theory as the core, from the narrative context and narrative time It is analyzed in three dimensions: space and narrative structure.Try to analyze the narrative form of this sports documentary, and summarize the narrative path of my country’s sports documentary,in order to provide a reference for telling Chinese sports stories.Based on the research on the narrative form of the sports documentary "Dare to Dream and Dang",this article finds that the documentary "Dare to Dream and Dang" uses the narrative method of narration and display moderation in the narrative context, and adopts the narrative person of the third person and the first person to conduct an omniscience perspective Zero-focus narrative. In the narrative time and space category, various narrative methods are appropriately used according to the development process of the story and the control of the documentary rhythm, such as the use of reverse timing, the cooperation of various lenses, the combination of sound and picture, and the use of montage, making the entire documentary It seems to have a comfortable rhythm, proper omission, and eye-catching.In the narrative structure category,"Dare to Dream and Dare" fully follows the spirit of sportsmanship and the law of sports development, using a causal linear structure, connecting the front and back of the CBA 2018-2019 season finals. For sports stories,an excellent narrative form is needed as a carrier for dissemination to the public, and the film "Dare to Dream and Be Done" uses a multi-dimensional and multi-angle narrative form to transform the original wonderful and intense realistic story into a visual text form.Provide reference significance for sports documentaries during the same period. The innovation of this thesis is to choose the latest and most cutting-edge sports documentary "Dare to Dream and Dang" as the research object. At the same time, the current domestic research on sports documentary narrative is still in its infancy.Starting from the narrative level, combining the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing and the environment of "telling Chinese stories",a case study of the success of the documentary "Dare to Dream and Be Dare" is made, and this is used to make a case for telling Chinese sports stories through sports documentaries.Implementable reference opinions.
