In 2001,our country issued “ The Guidance to Promote Primary School English Courses”,and primary school English courses developed quite rapidly.More and more English teachers realized English acquisition environment has a great impact on primary school students’ English learning process.In recent years,elementary students’ English acquisition environment made a very big improvement.But there are still some problems,such as different parts of the education administrative departments and schools do not match the importance of English in primary schools;The uneven quality of teaching materials leads to the low quality of English input.In class,the teacher’s teaching idea is also influenced by the examination baton,which is time-consuming and inefficient in teaching.The awareness of parents to enlighten their children in English is still weak and so on.Based on the current situation,the research emphasis of this paper is on case analysis on the construction of primary school English acquisition environment,from the several key factors affecting the effects of acquisition: social environment,campus environment,teacher resources and family environment to compare the differences of the two schools’ English acquisition environment,and puts forward some strategies for the construction of primary school English acquisition environment.The author successively works in J School,Jingjiang,Taizhou,Jiangsu Province and J School,Suzhou Industrial Park,Suzhou,Jiangsu Province,feel that there are big differences in the abilities of the flexible use of English between the students in two schools.In order to explore the deep reasons,the author takes two schools as the research object,through the comparison research,questionnaire survey,interviews and other research methods,compares the acquisition environment construction in two schools from the social environment,school environment,teacher resources,family environment,then puts forward the strategies of the construction of the primary school English acquisition environment.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly elaborated the research background,the research purpose and the significance,the research necessity;This part also gives the theoretical framework of this study based on Krashen’s second language acquisition theory and five hypotheses and environmental theories,and introduces the research methods of this study.The second part elaborates the connotation of Krashen’s second language acquisition theory and language environment theory,and discusses the four key factors that influence the effect of English acquisition from the theoretical level.The third part analyzes the current situation of English acquisition environment in Chinese primary schools,and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the construction of social environment,campus environment,teaching environment and family environment.The fourth part compares the differences between the two schools in the construction of English acquisition environment from four aspects: social environment,campus environment,teacher resource environment and family environment.The fifth part puts forward the strategies for the construction of primary school English acquisition environment in Jingjiang from four aspects: social environment,school environment,teacher resource environment and family environment.
