Research On The Visual Translation Design Of Wuhan Dialect In Hubei Province

Nowadays,many regional dialects are gradually forgotten by people under the impact of the policy of popularizing Mandarin,which makes nature honest and kind dialects become a regional culture on the verge of crisis.As a part of regional culture,dialect culture with a long history includes rich cultural heritage,which is a kind of regional cultural resources worthy of people’s attention and exploration.At first,this paper will start from the theory of semiotics,integrate the relevant knowledge points of semiotics and design methodology,and digging into semiotics.Secondly,this paper will use semiotics theory to analyze the design cases of dialect graphics from semantics,graphics,colors,creative ways,etc.,and system analysis the constitution and significance of visual symbol,offers a semiotic perspective and method in the future.Finally,the vocabulary collected from the preliminary investigation of Wuhan dialect is summarized,and the most frequently used and representative dialect vocabulary is selected for the graphic design of visual translation,and then applied to the expression pack and cultural creative products.We hope to eliminate the communication barriers in language and writing through the form of graphic language,so as to achieve the purpose of spreading and protecting dialects.
