| In Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,the skills of language training includes listening,speaking,reading,writing,translation,etc.The ultimate teaching goal is to cultivate and improve foreign students’ability to use Chinese to communicate.Therefore,oral Chinese teaching always occupies an irreplaceable position in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.Especially after students’reaching the advanced level,it puts forward higher requirements on their discourse expression ability.Consequently,how to effectively improve the participation,learning enthusiasm and discourse expression ability of foreign students in advanced oral class has become a common issue that needs to be solved at present.Some domestic scholars have learned from the model of some language classes at home and abroad,introducing cooperative learning into Chinese teaching classes for foreign students and conducted related researches.The conclusions showed that cooperative learning helps students effectively master the knowledge they have learned,enhance their confidence and enthusiasm in learning and cultivate their cooperative consciousness and interpersonal skills.Through the study and analysis of cooperative learning theory,it is found that cooperative learning and advanced oral Chinese teaching class for foreign students can be combined in many aspects and ways.Therefore,this research introduces cooperative learning into the class in order to discover the application feasibility and teaching value of cooperative learning in advanced oral Chinese teaching class for foreign students.Through the study of domestic and foreign cooperative learning theories and relevant researches,this paper applies cooperative learning in advanced oral Chinese teaching class after exploring the basic methods of cooperative learning.Based on actual teaching cases,it further explores the teaching effect of cooperative learning through classroom observation diaries,questionnaire surveys and personal interviews.The results show that students’ discourse competence was improved and their language anxiety was reduced to some extent through cooperative learning.Moreover,topics in the class can be greatly enriched and expanded.At the same time,there are still some deficiencies in the application of cooperative learning.Thus,based on the applying process and teaching reflections of the cooperative learning,this paper puts forward some suggestions for constructing more efficient and scientific cooperative learning classes for oral Chinese teaching and proposes the future directions of research. |
