The Interpretation Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Documentary In Perspective Of Eco’s Codes

Intangible Cultural Heritage is a precious cultural product handed down by human generations in their existence and development.It plays an important role in people’s understanding of traditional history and culture and enhancing national self-confidence.Documentary,taking real people and real things as the main body of stories,uses the patterns of film or TV plays to show the real conditions.The combination of the two is of great significance in preserving Intangible Cultural Heritage,forming relevant image and video information and further study and protection work of it.The thesis interprets Intangible Cultural Heritage documentary through the movie codes.Based on personal work “Reappearance after Millennia”,analyzing with ten codes in Eco’s theory of Film Semiotics,the thesis tries to excavate deeper cultural connotation of the work for the purpose of providing some reference experience for the concept theory and actual creation of related documentaries and enhancing the role of documentary in the protection and inheritance of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
