| The article is based on three operas written in Milan by Mozart,including Mitridate,rè di Ponto,Ascanio in Alba,and Lucio Silla.The author used literature research,music analysis and their comparement to study the characteristics of the Galant Style in these three operas.Including Galant Schema,structure of da capo(da segno)arias,phrases and sentences etc.,and then concluded the characteristics of these operas.In Chapter 2,the author made an overview of the galant style,including its definition,the galant schema,the structure of the arias in this period,the geographic location of the galant style,and finally discussed its relationship with Mozart’s early operas.Chapter 3 is the research of galant style in Mitridate,rè di Ponto,including the usage of the galant schema in directly use,the usage of tonal function,and the structural function.Then,the author discussed about the development of da segno aria as well as the evolution of the phrases,and the features of rhythm and texture.In Chapter 4,the author discussed about the galant style in Ascanio in Alba,including the development of the usage of galant schema in directly use,tonal function and structural one.Then,the author discussed the development of sonata principle,phrase and sentence structure,as well as rhythm and texture.Chapter 5 is the research of galant style in Lucio Silla,including the simplification of its usage in itself,enhancement in structural usage and is evolution with the motifs.Then,the author discussed the establishment of sonataform-aria,four-sentence-structure,as well as the relationship with the aria based on motif.In Chapter 6,the author discussed about the similarity of the three operas,and their difference in galant style.And through is development,the author thought that the development of these three operas is the symbol of Mozart’s matured works.It is concluded that although the composing style of the three operas has lots of similarity,in the relationship of galant schema and the structure of the forms,the establishment of sonata form,as well as the evolution of the sentence structure shows the development of Mozart’s early style,and Lucio Silla is the symbol of the early classical style of Mozart. |
