A Case Study Of Teaching Chinese Characters To Foreigners

The Chinese teaching characters is one of the contents of foreign Chinese teaching and one of the difficulties of foreign Chinese teaching.The problem of Chinese characters teaching is highlighted in the difficulty of learning and teaching Chinese characters.This paper studies the online and offline teaching cases of foreign Chinese characters to analyze their characteristics,find out the problems,put forward thoughts and suggestions,provide the teaching perspective and help for Chinese learners.This paper mainly adopts literature reading method,classroom observation method,statistical method and case analysis method,This paper analyzed 48 offline teaching cases,teaching design and 53 randomly selected online teaching cases.The full text is divided into five parts as following.The first chapter is the exordium,which involves the topic selection background,the research purpose and significance,the relevant review,the description of the research methods and materials.The second chapter is the case analysis of the online teaching of foreign Chinese characters.This part make a brief analysis of the online teaching of foreign Chinese characters,summarize its online teaching characteristics and explore the problems existing in the online teaching of foreign Chinese characters through the observation and analysis of the specific teaching cases.According to the existing problems,we put forward the corresponding countermeasures to prepare for the next thinking and suggestions.The main problems in the online teaching of foreign Chinese characters are mainly the opposite demonstration direction of Chinese characters,the lack of practical activities and feedback,and without a complete and mature foreign Chinese characters teaching classroom.The opposite demonstration direction of Chinese characters is reflected in that the handwriting of Chinese teachers.When they show the Chinese characters writing,it’s a common phenomenon that the order of handwriting is in opposite direction of students ’ writing.This is not good for Chinese learners to realize the overall perception of Chinese characters.Therefore,when writing the demonstration Chinese characters,Chinese teachers should maintain the consistent writing direction with the students,so as to ensure that the students have an overall grasp of the writing of model Chinese characters.The lack of practical operation activities and feedback refers to the lack of training links and consolidation practice feedback in online Chinese characters classes.Online teaching and learning can not achieve face to face communication.Because it is affected by the network,the practical practice is difficult to carry out and the teachers cannot supervise or understand the students ’ learning.In response,foreign Chinese teachers should find multiple software or functions that can monitor students ’ learning in real time to ensure the efficiency of online learning.The complete and mature foreign character teaching classroom reflects the online foreign character teaching links,some lack of import links,some lack of practice links,some lack of fan writing links…Just as the views put forward by relevant scholars,teachers should strictly review in accordance with the old words,character introduction,character explanation,character practice,character consolidation,summary and layout of homework to launch the foreign Chinese characters classroom,which can systematic the teaching of foreign Chinese characters.The third chapter is the case analysis of the offline teaching of foreign Chinese characters.This part describes the overview of offline foreign Chinese characters teaching,analyzes its offline teaching characteristics,use typical cases as a research template and finds out the problem.According to the existing problems as well as combining with the relevant language knowledge and teaching theory,the corresponding solutions are put forward to prepare for the next thinking and suggestions.There are two main problems in the teaching of online foreign Chinese characters: unreasonable time allocation and the difficult of effectively reflect hierarchical learning.Offline teaching has a lot of flexibility.It is more likely to appear other situations.Therefore,the timing should be reasonably allocated and strictly implemented.Different Chinese learners have different Chinese learning needs.The choice of offline learning is weaker than that of online learning.Therefore,in the face of different ages and levels,Chinese learners should have different Chinese character teaching requirements,which can make good use of online teaching with a variety of learning choices.The fourth chapter is the comparison and suggestion of the online and offline teaching cases of foreign Chinese characters.Combined with the characteristics of online and offline teaching cases of Chinese characters and existing problems and relevant theoretical knowledge,suggestions are put forward from teaching content,teaching methods,teaching methods,teacher quality and curriculum setting.The advantages of online Chinese characters teaching are: First,various forms;Second,you can break the boundaries of space and learn Chinese characters anytime and anywhere.Third,the classroom is highly preset.The shortcomings are mainly reflected in the lack of practical operation,no timely practice feedback and difficult organizational interaction.Offline Chinese character teaching mainly has the following three advantages: First,the Chinese character classroom teaching link is complete;Second,it can conduct effective practice;Third,the classroom generation is strong.Offline teaching of Chinese characters is mainly limited by time and space and lack of movement of available resources.Three suggestions are put forward: to build an independent classroom for Chinese character teaching;to change the Chinese character teaching concept;online and offline linkage and to promote the development of Chinese character teaching.At the end of this paper,the characteristics,problems and suggestions of online and offline Chinese character teaching are summarized.At the same time,shortcomings also are reflected on this study and prospects for future research are put forward.
