A Pragmatic Study Of China’s Diplomatic Discourse From The Perspective Of National Image-building

Diplomatic discourse is the language used by spokesmen in their diplomatic activities.It is also a window for foreign exchanges.It is also a way for countries to understand China directly.The specific context of Diplomatic Discourse,the language construction of spokesmen,and the national image are all worthy of researchers’ attention.With the adjustment of the national government,the increasing attention of the party and the state to diplomatic activities,the popularity of the Internet and the wide spread of the Diplomatic Discourse of foreign spokesmen on the Internet,the Diplomatic Discourse of spokesmen has been widely discussed by the masses.If the Diplomatic Discourse needs to be correctly spread by the Internet and the masses,it needs the guidance of professional talents to effectively spread the country’s position Rules of procedure,shaping the international image of the country.A trend which cannot be halted is to combine the current development of Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the development of China’s new socialist concept.Based on the new concept of national diplomacy,we should strengthen the power of the spokesman’s Diplomatic Discourse to spread China’s image,and form a system of scientific and rigorous Diplomatic Discourse,and promote the China’s international status.Because of the mild and strong speech mode in diplomatic activities,huachunying has prominent pragmatic features such as political,contemporary and innovative in the national image.Therefore,this paper takes huachunying as the research object to analyze the national image of Chinese foreign discourse.This paper is based on the theories of pragmatics,rhetoric,language communication and sociolinguistics,and on the context of the speaker’s language communication,aiming at building a national image,and promoting China’s international status and enhancing China’s discourse power.The paper is divided into five parts: introduction,context analysis of Chinese foreign discourse,pragmatic principles of Chinese foreign discourse,pragmatic strategy of Chinese foreign discourse and pragmatic function of Chinese foreign discourse.The context of Chinese foreign discourse is divided into two parts: internal context and external context.The pragmatic principles of Chinese foreign discourse are based on the principles of cooperation and Appropriateness.Hua chunying uses and chooses the Diplomatic Discourse in verbal communication by dialectical and unified principles.The pragmatic strategies of Chinese foreign discourse are mainly reflected in the three aspects of words,sentences and texts under the guidance of pragmatic principles.The pragmatic function of Chinese foreign discourse is divided into two parts: shaping and spreading,and summarizes the national image of Hua chunying in the fields of politics,economy and humanities.This paper fully explores the characteristics of the national image created by Hua chunying’s Diplomatic Discourse,and summarizes the shaping and dissemination of the national image by Chinese foreign language in terms of the main body,international status and diplomatic development.
