A Study Of Death Image In Chi Zijian’s Novel

Every writer may have a so-called label.Chi Zijian is different.She is a rare label writer in contemporary literary circles.This is inseparable from the special environment she is in.She was born in the extremely cold Arctic Village,and her unique geographical location has created a unique natural scenery.Chi Zijian relied on her extraordinary literary talent to open up her own literary world in a land she was familiar with.Chi Zijian began to write novels in1983,and a large number of literary works flooded the readers’ vision.She sensitively and delicately captures the unique temperament in the work,and readers are also deeply attracted by this temperament.Reading her works is like a breeze blowing suddenly in the hot summer,refreshing and pleasant.Due to Chi Zijian’s unique growth experience,she has personally experienced the pain of death,so her works are filled with a large number of death plots.She processed her own literary resources into her works to construct a large number of death images,which is unique to nature.Animals and plants,different customs in society,and unique mysterious culture constitute the carrier of death images.After reading Chi Zijian’s novels comprehensively,the author analyzes and sorts out the death images involved in his novels.The research of this thesis is mainly divided into the following five parts:In the first part,the research background and purpose of this thesis and the current research status of this topic are briefly explained.Secondly,the important concepts related to this article are briefly explained,through the interpretation of death images,it is emphasized that Chi Zijian’s works embody a unique understanding of death.The second part,based on Yang Yi’s simple classification method of imagery in "Chinese Narratology",focuses on classifying the death images embodied in Chi Zijian’s novels,presenting and explaining from three aspects: nature,humanities and supernatural.Secondly,as for the presentation of different death images,ask about its construction methods,and explain how to construct absurd death images from three aspects: the construction of the background,the appearance of the image of the prophet,and the impermanent transition of fate.The third part asks about the reasons why Chi Zijian uses death imagery to write novels.It analyzes from the perspectives of internal and external reasons.The internal reasons start from the author’s own childhood experience and the unique local religious influence,while the external reasons are from China and the West.The broad philosophical level of death narrates the impact on her.The fourth part is also a relatively important research part.It looks at the essence through the appearance,puts the materialized image of death into the text,and analyzes the attitude of the characters in the novel towards death,and how the author’s own death consciousness is in the novel Presented.The fifth part focuses on starting from the construction value of the death image,and exploring the value orientation of the death image from two aspects: aesthetic emotion and cultural connotation.
