As an early textbook of Chinese spoken language,Chinois Parle Maunuel has a lot of advantages in the arrangement of content and teaching methods.This paper takes the grammatical content of Chinois Parle Maunuel as the research object,on the basis of summarizing the background and content of the book,and accords the Chinese Proficiency Standard and Grammatical Grade Outline to calculate the amount and distribution of grammar items,summarize the characteristics of grammar selection and teaching methods,evaluate its achievements and deficiencies,and put forward its reference significance to the compilation of contemporary Chinese textbooks as a foreign language.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly explaining the origin of the topic,the research status,the significance,methods and objects of the research.The research status.The second chapter introduces the background of the book from two aspects of history and sinology research,and briefly summarizes the main contents of the preface,text and appendix.The third chapter,through data statistics and material arrangement,summarizes the characteristics of the selection of grammatical items,lexical selection,syntax selection in the textbook,and also summarizes the layout characteristics of quantifier,complement and special sentence pattern.The fourth chapter analyzes five teaching methods: Grammar-Translation Method,Communicative Approach,collocation method and clustering method,Morpheme Teaching Method and using cultural factors.The fifth chapter is the evaluation and reference significance,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the grammatical items,and discusses the reference significance in the current compilation of TCSL textbooks.
