| Willingness to communicate is an important indicator to measure learners’ second language performance.This study takes Chinese language learners from the Confucius Institute at Karachi University in Pakistan as the research object,and intend to explore the characteristics of their oral communication willingness inside class,self-evaluation of communication ability,communication anxiety(referred to as the "three communication"),and learning motivation in a classroom environment,as well as how the individual differences among learners and different communication objects and topics effect on the "three communication".The research has discovered the characteristics of learners’ willingness to communicate in oral Chinese inside class,and designed a structural equation model to visually display the interrelationship between the "three communication",learning motivation,and self-assessment of Chinese performance,and put forward corresponding suggestions to the Confucius Institute administrators,teachers,and learners. |
