| Autism spectrum disorder is a widespread neurological disorder in children with behavioral,social communication and other defects,resulting in children unable to communicate with people normally.The prevalence of autism has been on the rise since the1960 s,reaching 1:69 in 2018,according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.Autism is often difficult to cure once diagnosed,putting a severe financial and mental burden on families.Numerous studies have confirmed that autistic children have a talent for music,art,mathematics,etc.,and that autistic children can express their inner emotions through learning music and using the piano as a sound medium,which also solves the problem that some autistic children are unable to communicate with others in words.The piano is a world-wide instrument,known as the "King of Musical Instruments",it with its own wide range and wonderful tone to attract people.Learning the piano helps stimulate people’s musical potential and open up their imagination and creativity.Most autistic children respond well to music,have more sensitive musical perceptions,and beautiful melodies can increase their interest in the outside world and improve their social interaction disorders.This paper is divided into three chapters,the first chapter mainly through the use of literature research method to explain the concept of autism definition,classification,causes and characteristics;At the same time,interview methods are also used to interview family members and music teachers,as the background collection of research objects.In this paper,the author takes the student as the main research object,observes the problems of understanding,concentration and solid execution in piano teaching in autistic children,and adopts appropriate and effective methods to intervene and improve their symptoms.In the course of research,the author summarizes several piano teaching methods suitable for autistic children,and integrates The Orff teaching method,Dalcroz teaching method,etc.in the piano class,sets the scene in one-on-one classroom,takes the student as the main body,understands the characteristics and performance of the high-function autistic child group,according to the characteristics of the students will be the classroom teacher-student communication and interaction,student body rhythm and other content as much as possible,the traditional story teaching method,singing teaching method becomes more suitable for autistic children.In the course of teaching,based on the social and emotional interaction disorders,nonverbal behavior communication defects and understanding and developmental barriers of autistic children,the teaching objectives and teaching content are reasonably formulated.After implementing teaching through effective methods,the author also observed Xiao Ming’s teaching results,and through analysis of teaching results,we can see that learning piano has improved the social communication barriers of autistic children,which can improve the interaction between autistic children and others,share emotional feelings with others,and reduce the mental burden of autistic families,and create more opportunities for the future development of autistic children.Special children in piano learning in the concentration,physical incongruity,stubborn dislocation and other behaviors are the concentrated embodiment of ordinary teaching objects,as well as introverted personality,less communication with teachers students.Therefore,it is also helpful to explore piano teaching methods suitable for autistic children.I hope that this study will provide a detailed reference for piano teachers with less experience teaching this type of high-functioning autistic children,and that these methods will help teachers with students with such conditions to provide experience and methods. |
