Study On The Role Of Folklore In Local Governance

Folk culture is not only a stable and long-term custom spontaneously formed by the masses,but also a custom that changes with the development of The Times or under the guidance of the government.Folk custom can take local culture management resource to undertake reasonable development and application.Why,what and how does folklore play a role in local governance ? This paper USES the theory of social capital to deconstruct folk customs,to explore whether folk customs play a role in the production of social capital,and then explore the role of folk customs in local governance through social capital.This paper selected the Guangxi Yulin a controversial folk-summer solstice litchi festival as a case,by participating in observation,questionnaire and semistructured interview after investigating the case,to cut into the Angle of social capital and from the social interaction,relation network,trust and mutually beneficial norms four aspects of the folk whether the analysis study on the social capital increment.Starting from the role of social capital in local governance,the role of folklore in local governance is mainly in three aspects: the platform of diversified cooperation in local governance,the basis of cooperation and the standard guarantee.However,the social capital generated by the controversial folk custom is limited,and its effects also have two sides,which is a return to the discussion of the issue in the last chapter of the article.This paper selects folk custom as the research object,and USES social capital theory as the anchor point to connect folk custom and local governance.Currently,the academic circle has little research on this part,which is an attempt to expand the research perspective of local governance.In addition,the article also provides a new way of thinking for studying the role of folk customs in local governance.
