SWOT Analysis And Countermeasure Research Of Chongqing University Dance Sport Elective Course

The opening of sports dance elective courses can provide more course choices for college students,and play a positive role in improving their physical quality and shaping good shape.This paper takes the present situation of the elective course of dance sport in Chongqing University as the research object,and the students and teachers of the elective course of dance in Chongqing University as the investigation object.The following conclusions are drawn from the research using literature,questionnaire,expert interview,mathematical statistics and logical analysis method:1.The teachers of the sports dance elective course in Chongqing University are middle-aged and young teachers with higher education.Their professional title structure is reasonable and their majors are matched.2.There is a serious gender imbalance among students,mainly female students;The male students participate in the elective course of sports dance for credit,while the female students’ main motivation is to shape a good body and improve the temperament and demeanor.The number of students participating in the modern dance project is large,and there is little difference in the choice of elective courses for students of different genders.The students’ evaluation of teachers is mainly "generally satisfied",while the students’ evaluation of courses is mainly "relatively satisfied".The girls’ evaluation of teachers and the elective course of sports dance is higher than the boys’.3.The venue for the sports dance elective course is a fixed indoor venue with complete facilities;There are few elective courses of Dance Sport;In teaching,students’ imitation and teachers’ demonstration are the main teaching methods.Teachers pay little attention to students’ subjective initiative in learning.The elective courses of Dance Sport are relatively unitary.The teaching content includes four parts: basic wooden body posture exercise,step combination exercise,routine combination exercise and special theoretical knowledge.The auxiliary teaching content only offers ballet gymnastics,and the auxiliary teaching is single.4.Chongqing university sports dance elective course for the environment of SWOT matrix contains three advantages(equipped with professional teachers,school sports dance good atmosphere and good facilities),three weaknesses(teachers’ sex ratio imbalance,elective courses students gender imbalance,course arrangement and implementation issues),2 opportunities(the popularity of sports dance,physical education in colleges and universities The reform of the program has been further deepened),two challenges(the threat of elective courses of other sports,students’ low interest).5.Based on the SWOT analysis of the sports dance elective courses of Chongqing University,the following suggestions are put forward: to improve the gender imbalance of sports dance teachers;Stimulate and cultivate students’ learning interest and learning enthusiasm;Optimize the content system of sports dance teaching;Perfect sports dance teaching facilities;Enhance the scientific nature of sports dance courses;Strengthen the publicity and promotion of sports dance...
