There are 27 pieces of clothes scattered with burial and 471 pieces of portrait bricks(including frescoes)of figures’ clothes in Hexi tombs in Wei,Jin and Sixteen Countries. There are 18 categories and 109 kinds of clothing styles,8 categories of solid colors and 5 categories of double colors, and 12 categories of fabrics. On the basis of scholars’ research, this paper makes a textual research and interpretation of seven species in Hexi Clothing Shu in Wei,Jin and Sixteen Kingdoms."Huang dai" recorded in "Zhao Nian Clothing Shu" is a yellow headscarf. The "Fei xiu Handle" recorded in "Guo Fugui’s Clothing Shu" is a hand with red embroidered silk fabric. The "dan bei" recorded in "Zuo Chang Clothing Shu" is a kind of upper body clothes."Ji Yu wife’s Clothing Shu" is the upper body clothes made of weft woven silk."Qing Shu" in Zhou Nvjing’s Clothing Shu refers to a blue coat."Jin Mang" recorded in Zhou Nvjing’s Clothing Shu is a gold ornament in "strict tools"."Zhen Tong" recorded in "Huan Miaoqin Clothing Shu" is a sewing kit similar to today’s sewing kit.According to the established reference standard to identify the gender of Clothing Shu owners, the gender of 16 Clothing Shu owners with unknown gender was judged.Among them, the owners of 8 Clothing Shu tombs were male,7 Clothing Shu tombs were female, and the other 2 tombs could not be judged. There are many pictures of Hu Han ethnic group people in Hexi tombs during the Wei,Jin and Sixteen Kingdoms period, among which the phenomenon of ethnic blending reflected by people’s costumes can be simply summarized as "people of the Han Dynasty wear tribesmen inhabiting northern China in ancient times clothes" and "tribesmen inhabiting northern China in ancient times wear people of the Han Dynasty clothes".The costumes of the characters in the tomb pictures reflect the communication between China and the West, and are concentrated in the picture of the people of sugda in Central Asia. The clothes they wear have obvious characteristics of foreign elements. In the tomb literature,it is recorded that Hexi people used "Yan",an exotic high-grade silk fabric at that time.
