The Image Of Ancient Chinese Sports Murals In Contemporary Sculpture Creation

In chronological order,the ancient Chinese murals are preserved from the Han Dynasty,Northern Wei,Northern Qi,Sui Tang,Five Dynasties,Song,Liao,Jin and Yuan dynasties to the Ming and Qing dynasties.Especially the ancient sports and exercise images are the precious historical and fundament to study art research of ancient sports activities.From the presentation,venation and context,some specific sports and exercise images such as dance,wrestling,martial arts,polo,archery,hunting and equestrian can be avaliable.The article analyses how to embody the sports and exercise images by the language of sculpture,and reflects how to choose under the influence of traditional sculpture,how to exhibit the contemporary sculpture,how to pursue the individuation of sculpture creation.Compared with the connotation of the work expressed by the murals,the article studys the content of the design of a series of works “Zheng Chou”.Based on the Chinese traditional culture and spiritual connotation,using modern 3D scanning,3D printing and other technologies,the personalized sculpture works with Chinese traditional color and contemporary sculpture creation language are created.The murals of Chinese traditional sports culture are promoted.At the same time,by carrying on the exploration,the art link between two different era culture are related,showing the broad and profound Chinese culture.What’s more,the spirit of sports is put forward,which is also the personalized exploration and study of contemporary sculpture creation.The experience can also be accumulated in the development of artistic creation.
