Research On Women’s War Service In Taiyue Revolutionary Base

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation,the Communist Party of China carried out various activities for women’s work,including solving women’s marriage problems,encouraging women to accept education,organizing women to participate in productive labor and mobilizing women to participate in war service.Among them,mobilizing women to serve is an important part of the women’s work of the Communist Party of China,including sewing military shoes and uniforms,participating in the women’s self-defense force,standing guard,transporting the wounded and paying for the delivery of public grain,which played a huge role in the war.Under the organization and mobilization of the government,the women in Taiyue District broke through the bondage and oppression of the old times,and engaged in the sewing of military supplies and participated in military operations.They provided strong support for the rear service for the victory of the revolutionary war and gave full play to the revolutionary and productive power of women’s "half the sky".This paper mainly discusses the combat work of women in Taiyue District from five chapters,as follows:The introduction part expounds the origin of the topic,the review of academic history,the definition of "combat attendance" and "support before",as well as the research methods and innovations of the paper.The first chapter focuses on the social environment of women’s service attendance,and explores the historical background of women’s service attendance in Taiyue area before the Anti-Japanese War from four aspects,including the social ecological environment,traditional customs and habits,women’s living situation and the Japanese invasion.The second chapter analyzes the reasons for the ideological change of women’s service to work in Taiyue District,and expounds the experience and measures of mobilizing women’s service to work in the following aspects: First,the establishment of women’s work organizations,of which "Women’s Rescue Association" plays the most prominent role;Second,the government encourages women to participate in war service by holding military support meetings,personal visits and paying remuneration.Third,the Communist Party of China governs the base areas by the people,and women’s gratitude to the Communist Party of China;Fourthly,the Communist Party of China adjusted the central work of the women’s movement in time to realize the catalysis and promotion of the women’s movement to women’s service.In addition,it analyzes the difficulties of the government in the process of mobilization,the resistance from the family and society at the beginning of women’s service,and the deep concerns and conflicts in their hearts.The third chapter to the fifth chapter is the core part of this paper,mainly introduces the Taiyue revolutionary base women’s contribution to war service.The third chapter systematically elaborates the contribution of women in sewing military supplies,especially the achievements of women in making military shoes,and corrects the work deviations such as unfair distribution of cadres in some regions,random apportion of cadres and forced shoe making by the government by means of changing workers’ mutual assistance,competition award and work display.The fourth chapter presents the situation of women’s participation in local military armed struggles,the emergence of special identities such as women’s self-defense forces and women’s militia,the transition from work conflict to coordination between armed committees and women’s rescue associations,and the mobilization of women’s relatives to join the army and preferential treatment of military families.The fifth chapter discusses women’s transport,care for the wounded,condolence to the soldiers,rear production and delivery of public grain.The epilogue summarizes and concises the whole text,points out the conflict,struggle and pain pressure of women in Taiyue District in the psychological and physiological service,the contradiction,concession and unity between women’s combat service,women’s movement and women’s liberation,and affirms the contribution and sacrifice of women in Taiyue District to the national liberation.All in all,in an age of "all for the war and revolution" background,Tai Yue District government can from condition of base areas,protect the interests of women,mobilize women spaniels,although in the practical work of propaganda and mobilization and produced some problems,affects the civilian war service work,but overall work of the government shall be sure.Women in Taiyue Revolutionary Base overcame both physical and psychological pain and made great contributions to national liberation: from providing soldiers with food,clothing,shelter and transportation,to sending their relatives to join the army,to personally participating in military organizations,they contributed their own strength from all aspects.At the same time,women’s participation in the war service also improved their own awareness and status,and accelerated the historical process of women’s self-liberation.
