| The Childlike Innocence Theory emerged during the May Fourth,and Western childcentrism was its main source of thought.However,according to historical facts,the childlike thoughts contained in traditional Chinese culture contributed to the prosperity of children’s literature during the May Fourth Movement.The May Fourth children’s literature theory inherited the anti-reasoning color of traditional childlike thoughts,giving it a modern way of presentation,and at the same time integrating Western modernity ideas,thus,the May Fourth represented by the Child-based Theory The theory of children’s literature has made great achievements at the beginning of its birth.Based on this,this article focuses on the May Fourth Children’s literature theory with Child-centered Theory as the mainstream.Under the influence of the traditional Childlike Heart thought and the western children’s center,it combines literary practice to present its distinctive characteristics of the times from multiple angles.The full text is divided into five chapters,starting from two dimensions,one is an investigation of the interpretational of children,and the other is an investigation of literary practice.The first chapter expounds the cultural background of the era before the May Fourth Children’s Awakening;the second chapter discusses the performance of the May Fourth children’s literature theory in its budding period.Chapters 3 and 4 are the in-depth development of the May Fourth children’s literature theory.They respectively demonstrate the two most representative views on children in this period.On the basis of inheriting the Childlike Innocence thinking,they are child-oriented.This theme became a concrete manifestation of the May Fourth spirit in the field of children’s literature.The fifth chapter starts with literary works from three perspectives: children in adult childhood memories,children as adult aesthetic objects,and fairy tale writing from the standpoint of children,and together with the Japanese Childlike Innocence of the same period as the object of investigation,analysis the similarities and differences of the Childlike Innocence contained in the fairy tales of the two countries,to understand the May Fourth children’s literature follow and deviate from the "child-oriented" in the creation of the May Fourth children’s literature,in order to grasp the gains and losses of the May Fourth children’s literature theory in inheritance and development. |
