Analyzing The Space Of Landscape Aesthetic Through The Cultural Connotation Of “You”

The spatial study of landscape painting has been shrouded in the shadow of Western realism and scientism since modern times.Due to the special historical background in the late Qing Dynasty,Chinese intellectuals highly respected Western culture and systems.Traditional Chinese paintings are labelled as "decayed" and "backward" and have become one of the objects of "revolution".The revolutionaries urged the use of "more scientific" and "more advanced" Western painting theories to transform Chinese painting,as one of the means of revolution to achieve the effect of social improvement.Nearly a hundred years after the May Fourth New Culture Movement,anti-tradition has become the mainstream of calligraphy and painting circles.Perspective has also successfully become one of the methods to analyze the spatial construction of landscape paintings.Using perspective principles to analyze the spatial composition of Chinese landscape paintings has become the mainstream of academic circles for a long time.However,the concept of space in landscape painting was formed in a more complete and self-sufficient cultural environment.Analyzing the space of landscape painting with Western theories and methods,due to the different origins of national space consciousness,will inevitably cause misunderstanding and lack of information.Based on traditional culture,this article starts with the etymological exploration of locality words and ancient myths,and explores the space concept of the ancients.Then use Zong Bing’s "Preface to Painting Landscape" as the text to analyze the embodiment of ancient space concept in the early painting theory.Later,through the analysis of "Looking You",from the etymological analysis of "You" and the exploration of the aesthetic concept of "You",the cultural connotation of "You" is analyzed.Taking the painting theory of the Northern Song Dynasty "Linquan Gaozhi Ji" as the text,it analyzes the role of the cultural connotation of "you" in the construction of landscape painting space from the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Northern Song Dynasty.In this paper,through the tracing of the meaning of the word oracle bone inscriptions and the study of mythological and archaeological data,classical painting theory is used as the text,and the analysis method of multi-dimensional and multi-angle is used.In addition,a series of image researches try to use the cultural aesthetic connotation of "you" as a clue,and through the reappearance of the traditional cultural context of the ancients,it is proved that "you" is the construction method of classical landscape painting space.
