| Under the severe situation of the global epidemic spreading,the importance and necessity of developing online teaching has become more and more prominent.As a new type of online teaching resource with video as its carrier,micro-classes are rapidly gaining active attention from the Chinese language teaching community due to their "short and compact" characteristics.At present,more and more teachers have started to make micro-class,but due to the lack of systematic theoretical guidance,there are still problems in the presentation design of Chinese micro-class,such as unreasonable presentation of multimedia information,inadequate design of teachers’ appearances,lack of attention to the problem of foreigners’ appearances and unreasonable design of subtitle presentation.The design of Chinese micro-class has its unique features.How to make Chinese micro-classes that are loved by foreign learners is worthy of further thinking.In this paper,we take the award-winning micro-classes of the 2nd National Postgraduate Chinese Teaching Micro-class Competition as the research object,and analyze the multimedia information design of 61 Chinese micro-classes based on the Principles of Multimedia Instruction Design of R.E.Mayer,an American educational psychologist.Based on the results of the analysis and students’ evaluation feedback,we propose some targeted suggestions for the information presentation design of the Chinese micro-class.Thus,we can improve the online teaching ability of Chinese international education talents.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part of the introduction mainly describes the reasons for choosing the topic,research review,research methods,research ideas and theoretical basis of the paper,focusing on the current situation that the research on multimedia information design of Chinese micro-class is still insufficient;the first chapter mainly analyzes the design of award-winning micro-classes based on thirteen principles,and find that these award-winning works can conform to most of the principles,only poorly reflect a few of them,and the higher the award rank,the greater the number of works that conform to the principles and the higher the degree of conformity to the principles;The second chapter analyzes the effect of the design of Chinese micro-class that conforms to the principles based on the results of questionnaires and interviews,find that the respondents’ favorite Chinese micro-class designs and principles are not entirely consistent,which means we should continuously optimize the design of Chinese micro-lessons with the needs of Chinese learners in mind;the third chapter summarizes the problems in the design of multimedia teaching information in Chinese micro-classes based on the analysis and research in the first two chapters and puts forward targeted suggestions;the last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the conclusions,innovations and shortcomings of the research.Through the investigation and analysis,Chinese micro-lessons are prone to problems in design related to the principles: TC,CO,IM,VP,RE.Designers should pay attention to the design of effective information presentation,pay attention to the design of teacher image presentation,pay more attention to the problem of foreigners’ appearance on the screen,and should carry out the subtitle presentation design reasonably.The innovation of this paper is to apply the principles into the study of Chinese micro-class,summarize the advantages and problems of the current Chinese micro-class design,provide more targeted suggestions for improvement,make additional suggestions for the judging criteria of the Chinese Teaching Micro-class Competition,and to summarize the table of micro-lesson design guidelines and the table of teacher image presentation design guidelines.The shortcomings of this paper are that the information from some of the feedback due to the limitation of the number of surveys and the lack of designer’s opinion is still not comprehensive. |
