The Influence Of The Form And Composition Of Peter Doig’s Pictures On My Personal Creation

In today’s society,under the background of globalization,the painting seems more likely initiation,as western modernism and post-modernism literary trend of development,the traditional easel painting gradually marginalized,even was declared dead,how to in such an environment,to find a new direction of painting is a contemporary artists have common goals.Against such an artistic background,the painter Peter Doig still sticks to his unique artistic perspective and concept in the process of painting creation.He continues to paint on the shelf and explores the possibility of personal feelings and times in painting creation.The form and composition of his paintings are worthy of our exploration and study.This paper takes the form and composition of Peter Doig’s pictures as the breakthrough point,and studies them in the process of oil painting creation.First of all,using literature analysis and formal analysis to deeply understand the source of the form and composition of Doiger’s paintings,tracing back to his historical background,source elements and the influence of other painting schools on him.From the birth of Peter Doig,painting creation,the source of painting materials,and how he skillfully used painting techniques and painting materials in the process of creation,the author analyzes his creation process and studies and summarizes.Finally,from three aspects of the collection and arrangement of materials,the application of painting techniques,and the expression of artistic conception of painting,this paper discusses the form and composition of Doiger’s picture,and its influence on my personal creation.And the research results into the personal graduation creation.
