Research On The Publishing Of Educational Periodicals In Hebei During The Period Of Republic Of China

Modern China’s social unrest,the administrative system has undergone great changes.After the establishment of Hebei Provincial Government in 1928,Hebei’s educational administrative system gradually stepped into the right track.With the introduction of western advanced culture,modern education in Hebei Province developed continuously,and Hebei became the educational highland of the country.With the continuous development of the publishing industry,a publishing pattern with Beijing,Tianjin and Baoding as the center has been formed in North China.Periodicals,as a new medium,have become an important way to spread educational ideas.Taking 45 educational periodicals in Hebei province during the Republic of China as the research object,the development of educational periodicals has experienced four stages: germination period,prosperity period,decline period and recovery period.By summarizing and analyzing the publication words of all the periodicals,it is found that the educational periodicals in Hebei Province during the Republic of China had the publishing value of awakening the society,business communication,academic research and spirit of unity.In the period of the Republic of China,the distribution of educational periodicals in Hebei province was unbalanced,mainly concentrated in today’s Baoding,Tangshan,Beijing and Tianjin.From the analysis of the publishing body,the publishing units of educational periodicals in Hebei during the Republic of China were mainly divided into six types: primary and secondary schools,normal schools,people’s education organizations,professional colleges,education departments and bureaus,and newspapers and periodicals,among which the proportion of school periodicals published by primary and secondary schools was the highest.During the period of the Republic of China,the educational periodicals in Hebei Province had the characteristics of unstable publishing cycle,short periodical length and few periodical numbers.The title of the journal is changed due to the change of the periodical period,the phenomenon of celebrity inscription is more,and the font design of the journal title is rich.In the period of the Republic of China,the columns of educational periodicals in Hebei Province were rich.Periodicals are mainly sold by subscription and single book sales,the overall issuance is limited,the periodical advertising business is not mature.After analysis,they mainly included five columns: treatise and research,translation,command and regulation,proofreading and news,report and plan.The publishing of educational periodicals in Hebei province during the republic of China has brought profound enlightenment to the contemporary publishing industry.In the publishing of contemporary educational periodicals,we should insist on spreading advanced educational ideas,running periodicals with characteristics,understand the needs of readers,and give full play to the educational guiding function of educational periodicals.
