A Research On Vocabulary Of Huang Beijia’s Children Fiction

Huang Beijia is a well-known contemporary children’s literature writer.Her works have won numerous awards and have a profound impact on the growth of children.This article selects Huang Beijia’s four influential novels "Kiss my mother","Today I am a flag-raiser","I’m flying" and "I want to be a good kid" to establish a small corpus of Huang Beijia’s children’s novels,with a total number of characters of approximately 550,000,with a total number of words of 321,761,and a total of 18,900 words.Using this as the material,we will excavate the vocabulary characteristics of Huang Beijia’s children’s novels,in order to provide some references for the study of children’s literature vocabulary.The main body of this article is divided into two parts.The first part is the general description of the vocabulary of Huang Beijia’s children’s novels.Use Excel for word frequency statistics,and by calculating the cumulative coverage rate,it is divided into three parts: absolute high-frequency words,relatively high-frequency words and low-frequency words for description.The second part is the description and analysis of the characteristic vocabulary of Huang Beijia’s children’s novels.The third chapter focuses on the analysis of overlapping words and metaphors in Huang Beijia’s children’s novels.This paper analyzes the classification and analysis of overlapping words from two aspects: part of speech and overlapping forms,and analyzes their use characteristics in conjunction with the article.In addition,some words appearing in the article not only refer to specific things,but are often used as vehicles to refer to other things.This article analyzes the five aspects of animals,people,food,plants and daily things according to the number of uses,in order to explore the characteristics of Huang Beijia’s words.Focus on the analysis of idioms and fixed phrases in Huang Beijia’s children’s novels.There are a lot of idioms,idiomatic expressions and fixed phrases in Huang Beijia’s children’s novels.This article divides the idioms in Huang Beijia’s novels into metaphors,metaphors,and conduct etc.,and summarizes their practical meanings.In addition to the regular use of idioms,there are also some idioms applied,which add a lot of color to the language.This article also analyzes them;this article lists idioms according to their semantic content,and combines the content of the article to classify and analyze their semantic characteristics;To a certain extent,the use of fixed phrases reflects the characteristics of Huang Beijia’s diversified words.This article analyzes four aspects including number structure and adverb structure.
