As a representative of avant-garde drama,Meng Jinghui has a large number of young audiences due to its unique dramatic style,and even is sought after by young audiences as a fashion.Since the acceptance of the phenomenon of "youth" in Monteggia’s dramas has attracted the attention of the academic circles,but there is no special research on this phenomenon,this thesis chooses to try to further interpret the formation of the characteristics of Meng Jinghui’s dramas and the short and long points of Monteggia’s dramas from this perspective,and hopes to exchange and dialogue with the existing research in the academic circles.Firstly,the paper discusses the formation and historical origin of the youth acceptance of Meng Jinghui’s drama,and holds that the formation of this phenomenon is related to the youth cultural tradition of Chinese drama and Meng Jinghui’s own drama growth path.Chinese drama has been closely linked with youth since its birth.Students’ drama performance is accompanied by the occurrence,development and maturity of Chinese drama.Contemporary avant-garde drama originates from young people’s rebellion against the drama tradition.During the period of Meng Jinghui’s campus drama creation,absurd school flaunts rebellion and shows self-individuality,which is a natural component of youth culture.After taking the road of professional drama creation,he consciously incorporated youth culture into the aesthetic pursuit of drama,remolding the rules by himself,realizing the rebellion against orthodox drama,holding an idealistic attitude,and pursuing the carnival effect of drama,thus making his drama show unique youth characteristics and be deeply loved by young people.From the perspective of cultural attributes,Meng Jinghui’s drama has gone through a process from being a young man to approaching a young man,and its drama has gradually changed from "minority" to "mass".The youth-oriented characteristics of Meng Jinghui’s dramas are shown in the path of "rebellion",the direction of "game" and the connection of love.He attracts young people with "love",entertains them with "games",flaunts his personality with "rebellion" and gives vent to his emotions with unique Monteggia pleasure.Although the audience’s goals are not limited to youth,the positioning is very clear.He realizedmultiple exploration of drama form in the structure,language,music and form of drama,flaunting the drama rules of self-reconstruction.Using ridicule and revelry to realize the creative direction of "game" and to publicize free drama art;Showing masochistic and alienated love with passion and idealism,revealing the human nature beyond love.And these touch the hearts of young audiences from the inside out.Looking at Meng Jinghui’s drama from the perspective of youth acceptance,one can find that it has not only the vitality and vigor of "youth",but also the other side of "flattering youth" and unilateralization.It serves as an early warning function for dramatic art,enriches the cultural tradition of drama,realizes the cultural feedback function for mainstream drama or "orthodox drama",and at the same time realizes the psychological cure for audience with its passionate,brave and rebellious spirit.On the other hand,due to Meng Jinghui’s clear audience orientation and over-emphasis on youth culture,his drama has also moved towards a "youth-friendly" and single development path of continuous reproduction of popular culture.
