Humanistic documentaries are based on "people" as the core theme,documenting the living conditions and living conditions of ordinary people or a special group of people,mainly showing culture,humanity,social life and other aspects.It is not only a true record of real life,but also contains the creator’s thinking and reflection on the relationship between man and society,history and culture,and has a strong sense of humanism and humanistic care.An excellent humanistic documentary can’t do without the stereoscopic shaping of the character image by the creator.The full and vivid character image can convey the deep connotation and humanistic spirit of the documentary.This article clarifies the concept and connotation of humanistic documentaries,analyzes the value of the stereoscopic shaping of characters in the humanistic documentaries.Taking the author’s work "Youth on the Fingertips" as an example,based on previous research results and his own practice shooting,From the perspective of multi-dimensional viewing,the use of audio-visual language and other aspects of the stereoscopic shaping of characters.
