An Artistic Exploration Of The Open Ending In The Film Works

The ending indicates the completion and the end,the open ending adds the infinite possibility and the infinite charm for the ending.The open ending,which does not insist on the growth and change of the characters,does not insist on the intensity and visibility of the dramatic conflicts,does not stick to the completeness of the story and the audience’s expectation,and brings the audience infinite aftertaste space with the unique aesthetic experience,attract countless film people to appreciate and practice.To understand an open ending,you first need to understand the concepts associated with it.How does it end? How does the ending of the story relate to the last part of the story? What’s the open ending? What are the connections and differences between an open ending and a closed ending? Why open endings are becoming more popular?If these questions can be answered,it will help people understand more deeply the nature of open endings.Second,the author will explore the artistic characteristics of the open ending,combined with the graduation project "Google Google ".With its unique open structure,the open ending strengthens the relationship and interaction between the film and the audience.Through the "white space in the narrative" way to tell more possibilities of the outcome,so that the audience can be repeated in the long aftertaste of the film reflects the human thinking beyond the story itself.Finally,the author puts forward two suggestions for creating a perfect open ending.One is to make a timely advance in the plot,to open the possibility of the outcome;the other is to reasonably simplify the complex conflict,in dealing with the complex relationship of the film.Although my graduation project "Google Google " is still a long way from a perfect open-ended film.The author hopes to use this as a window for more people to feel the charm of the open ending and open structure,thus increasing the attention and exploration of the open ending.
