Tanxi Song Tomb M196 in Xiangyang,Hubei Province is a new archeological discovery in recent years.As a rare Southern Song Dynasty in Hubei,it has a richly decorated imitation wood structure brick mural tomb.Compared with other Song tombs in Hubei,the tomb wall is decorated with exquisite murals and bricks.The sculpture combination decoration depicts the vivid and vivid scenes of daily life in the Song Dynasty and the decorative patterns of wealth and auspiciousness.The four walls are distributed with pictures of women opening doors,pictures of kitchens,pictures of preparing drinks,pictures of four gods,and pictures of peony,from the distribution of tombs.From the perspective of the period,these decorations have unique research value.From the tomb shape and decoration content,the regional attribution of Tanxi Song tombs in the archaeological culture should be the Central Plains culture represented by the Henan region.This article focuses on the methods of typology,iconography and iconography,through collecting relevant archaeological data,and comparing it with similar image data in different regions of the same period.On the basis of previous research results,combined with historical documents and materials from the Tang and Song Dynasties,starting from different angles of image composition,modeling,color,etc.,explore the imitation wood structure of the tomb of the Song Dynasty and the fresco of the woman opening the door.The origins of the kitchen map,the drink preparation map,the four gods map,and the peony map and the influencing factors discussed the funeral cultural concepts and life customs in Xiangyang,Hubei,and a preliminary exploration of the identity of the tomb owner.
