The Novel HeAn:Rhetorical Symbol And Discourse Construction

Based on the language of He An,this paper uses the theory of generalized rhetoric,taking three groups of rhetorical symbols —— appellation symbols,power symbols and space symbols as the research object,and carrying out the interpretation of text rhetoric from two angles: rhetorical semantics and discourse construction.The appellation symbol shows the rhetorical transformation between the subjective appellation and the subordinate appellation in the text context.Promoting discourse construction presents the rhetorical narrative of "Ku Wenxuan",which dispels the identity of "Ku Wenxuan" in public context,and physical self-certification in individual context;" Ku Dongliang" changes to "Kong Pi" and realizes rhetorical reasoning of "Kong Pi reality" step by step;"Jiang Huixian" presents "Xiao Tiemmei" and self to self-regression.The appellation symbol rhetoric of different subjects shows the existence of individual "self" and "other" life.The power symbol:monument,the fish-shaped birthmark,the red light exerts the function of the special object,and causes the individual to enter the grand history.Revolutionary architectural monument,in the official / folk context,the formation of official ideology shaping,folk power desire to the alienation of human nature narrative.Fish-shaped birthmark,expression level,from the identity birthmark to physiological birthmark return,to achieve the political castration of Ku Wenxuan;on the acceptance level,from the identity birthmark to desire birthmark,life birthmark deviation,forming the power desire carnival deviation narrative.red light from the political and spiritual level of rhetoric processing,to achieve political power to dominate the individual fate of the narrative trend.The space symbol "river" and "shore" expand from physical space to social space and spiritual space,and construct the spatial rhetorical illusion of the world on the river and the world on the shore.River and shore are opposite each other in the text,which becomes another rhetorical motive force of discourse construction.physical space opposites complement each other,on this basis,social operation is spatially mapped to the rhetorical design of mainstream social repression and exile resistance narrative,at the same time,spatial aesthetic cognition realizes the shaping of different groups.Rivers and banks mirror each other,showing the subversion of reason by the society centered on the shore world.To sum up,the appellation symbol,the power symbol and the space symbol unify the identity,the power and the space organically,the identity determines the individual power status,and the space is the symbol of the individual power status.The narrative layout of character identity and power transformation together constructs symbolic spatial rhetorical illusion and constitutes a complete whole.
