Study On The Internal Way Of Connecting Marxism And Confucianism

As the mainstream of Chinese traditional culture,Confucianism occupies a dominant position in the feudal society.With the transformation,progress and development of society,Confucianism has gone from the dominant position of "ousting hundreds of schools of thought and respecting Confucianism alone".It has experienced the challenge,negation and criticism,and ushered in new opportunities,new development and the ups and downs of modernization.To build a modern socialist country with Chinese characteristics is not only to combine the basic principles of Marxism with China’s specific revolutionary situation,social reality,system establishment,economic development,construction process and reform direction,but also to combine the basic principles of Marxism with Chinese history,tradition,culture and ideology.As the mainstream consciousness of Chinese traditional culture,the basic principles of Marxism are integrated with Chinese traditional culture,that is,the integration with traditional Confucianism.Although there are ideological differences between Marxism and Confucianism,there is no fundamental conflict of opposites.The consistency and complementary between them provide the possibility of the integration of the two.Marxism and Confucianism have strong similarities in dialectics,epistemology,historical view,mass view and social ideal.The Confucian philosophy of life,such as the doctrine of the mean,harmony,ethics,propriety,integrity and self-cultivation,can complement,enrich and develop the flexible side of Marxism.The integration of Marxism and Confucianism can not only enrich,develop and perfect Confucianism,but also make Marxism have Chinese characteristics.After the exploration and development of Marxism in China and the combination of theory and practice,Marxism with Chinese characteristics has been formed.Mao Zedong thought,Deng Xiaoping theory,the important thought of "Three Represents",and the socialist ideology of Scientific Outlook on Development and Xi Jinping in the new era with Chinese characteristics are important theoretical achievements of China’s Marx doctrine,and guide the establishment of the policy and line of China’s socialism in China’s political construction,economic construction,cultural construction,social construction and ecological civilization construction.In the new era,realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,carrying forward the traditional culture of the Chinese nation,improving the self-confidence of national culture and theory,enhancing the national cohesion and centripetal force,and comprehensively enhancing the cultural soft power of the Chinese nation are the top priorities in the cultural construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This requires that under the guidance of adhering to Marxism,we must inherit,integrate and develop the excellent achievements of traditional culture,especially Confucianism.The integration of Marxism and Confucianism is the need to solve the practical problems facing China,to promote the Sinicization of Marxism,to transform the traditional culture to modernization,and also to the healthy development of Chinese society.
