Objectives:To explore the research hotspots and research frontiers in the field of anxiety disorders related genes, explore the current research status, clarify the current development trends and future research directions, and provide a new vision for the innovative development of domestic anxiety disorder-related genes research and discipline construction; We will mine high-frequency genes, explore association rules between genes, discover core combinations, and further summarize and clarify the intrinsic connections between anxiety disorders related genes. Methods:In this study, the literature in the field of anxiety disorders related genes in WOS and CNKI databases was used to construct a knowledge mapping visualization network with the help of software Cite Space, and cluster analysis and association rules were used to study anxiety disorders related genes,to reasonably classify genes, and to mine and analyze the association between genes. Results:In aspects of spatial and temporal distribution, anxiety disorders related genes research shows a steady growth trend year by year and still has a large potential for development, with the us,Germany, and China being the high-producing countries and also the us having the foremost cooperation with different countries. In aspects of research subjects, universities are the main research institutions, hospitals and research institutes have less academic achievements, and overall the cooperation among authors is more scattered, failing to form a large-scale cooperative network;foreign authors cooperate more closely than domestic ones, and the prototype of a cooperative network has not yet been formed in China. In aspects of research hotspots and research frontiers, commonalities at domestic and abroad are studies on co-morbidities such as schizophrenia,obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and bipolar disorder, studies on molecular genetics of genetic polymorphisms such as 5-HTTLPR,COMT,and BDNF,studies on attachment patterns and life events during childhood, and studies on stressful life events.Cluster analysis classified 27 high frequency genes into 6 clusters, and 6 key genes,WWOX,SLC6A4,NR4A2,COMT,GAD1,and BDNF,play important linkage roles among high frequency genes. The association rule analysis yielded a total of 17 association rules, including 11 frequent 2-item sets and 6 frequent 3-item sets,of which 2 strong association rules with a lift greater than 3 are {CD5L} => {CD69},{CD5L,WWOX}=> {CD69}.Conclusions:Research in the field of anxiety disorders related genes is in a period of rapid development, and there is still much room for upward mobility.Currently, both domestic and international attention is paid to the study of genetic polymorphisms, and future research will tend to focus on the functions of brain structures such as hippocampus, amygdala, and prefrontal cortex,as well as the pharmacological treatment and recovery of anxiety disorders.
