A Study On The Role Of Traditional Family Culture In Rural Governance

With the advance in the concepts of autonomy,rule of law,and rule of morality in recent years,as well as the exploration of rural governance patterns,the rule of morality occupies an increasingly important position in rural social governance.Traditional Family culture,as a part of rural traditional culture is a basic content of the rule of virtue,which also affects people’s values and moral concepts gradually.It can effectively improve the personal qualities of rural social members,promote the construction of rural family ethics and family culture,so as to eliminate bad habits in rural society,establish public order and good customs in rural governance,create good rural governance customs,and play a unique role in achieving good rural social governance.This article,regarding Luodai Town in Chengdu as an example,will analyze the connotation and value of traditional family culture.Also talking about its role in the process of rural governance from all aspects.By selecting cases,this article is aimed at exploring the role of the unique family style culture in rural governance in Luodai Town,and drawing the conclusion that traditional family style culture plays a role in the governance of rural society from the individual,family and society.Based on traditional rural governance theory,this article combines the rural governance concept of autonomy,rule of law,and rule of virtue,using research methods such as field interviews and case studies.Via visiting the Hakka Style Museum in Luodai Town,analyzing the influence of family style culture on village appearance in Luodai Town,this article clearly explains the role of traditional family culture in rural governance both in theory and in practice.Finally,through the specific case study of the family tradition culture of Luodai Town and the status quo of village governance,it can be concluded that it is necessary to strengthen moral education,to improve the quality of villagers,to shape moral models,to promote excellent traditional family culture and rural culture,to help rural governance,to advocate co-construction,co-governance and sharing,to guide investment in practice,and to build a harmonious countryside,so as to promote the positive role of traditional family style culture in promoting the effective governance of rural society,and to build a new socialist countryside with rural customs and civilization.This article is divided into three parts.The first part introduces the background,the significance,and the current research situation of the topic.Besides,it expounds the related concepts,the theoretical basis,and how to critically inherit the traditional family style culture in the new era.The second part analyzes the specific cases of family culture in Luodai Town,introduces how traditional family culture plays a role in rural governance by referring to the governance of Luodai Town,and points out its limitations.The third part is to put forward measures and suggestions by analyzing the role of family culture and rural governance in Luodai Town.
