In recent years,the study of film narrative ethics has attracted the attention of scholars,but the theoretical discussion or critical practice of film narrative ethics is still in the groping stage at present.In the author’s opinion,This paper in China since 1984 on Gai Ge Shi epoch-making year of creation of the western film creation community as the research object,aims to use this new movie narrative ethics criticism paradigm to the image of Chinese classic western movie text reading again,and try to realize in the process of the stress on "movie narrative ethics criticism paradigm" further instructions.Looking back to the period from 1984 to 1989,the concept of Chinese western films was established,the image style was formed and the stage of international fame and influence was gained.During this period,the political and cultural background of The Times and the updating of literary and artistic trends had a direct impact on the literary and artistic creation of western films,resulting in a number of classic western films with international influence and distinct cultural and artistic styles.This paper is mainly divided into four parts,including introduction,three chapters and conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces the paper’s research background and origin,classic western films were reviewed and the present situation,the narrative ethics research,research framework and innovation points--based on the research paradigm of narrative ethics,including the relative concepts of narrative ethics comb,film narrative ethics criticism research connotation,Chinese classic western movie narrative ethics research path,the innovation,the party Law and Meaning.In the innovation point,it points out how the narrative form of the classic western film period expresses its ethical values.According to this definition,this paper is divided into three chapters,which respectively discuss the connotation of the narrative ethics of the classic western film,the form of the narrative ethics of the classic western film and the causes of the narrative ethics of the classic western film.The first chapter discusses the classic western movie narrative ethics connotation,roots and scream,depression and choice as context,its film ethical subject can be divided into collective ethics and individual ethics,specific analysis of the traditional farming culture in the movie watch,realistic spirit of light,inheritance and change of moral balance,the individual and multiple ethical issues such as population growth in a ceremony.The second chapter discusses the narrative form in which the classical western films convey their ethics,analyzes the narrative elements in the films,such as shape aesthetics,sound aesthetics and picture color,and points out that in the classical western films,The enlightenment ethical appeal conveyed under the background of The Times is often expressed by changing the ethical direction through special shapes,promoting the ethics through sound,and enhancing the ethical anxiety through color.The third chapter discusses the causes of narrative ethics of classic western films,namely what influences the shaping of ethics and values in this period,including not only the historical and cultural context of "fable and modern myth",the artistic appeal of nationalization,but also the unique background of growth,the transformation of the ontology and the creative experience of evolution.In the conclusion part,while making a summary,it points out that the film texts in the period of classic western films play an important role in foreshadowing the current ethical concepts in China.At the same time,it reflects on the current situation of domestic film creation,and finally puts forward the shortcomings of this study.
