This paper takes the criminal cases of banner men in Fengtian Jilin during the period of Guangxu and Xuantong as the research object, through the analysis of the causes, crime types, trial institutions and trial results of the criminal cases of banner men,and describes the production and life of ordinary banner men during the period of Guangxu and Xuantong from the perspective of the criminal cases of banner men. This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter explains the regional background of the study on the criminal cases of banner men during the reign of Guangxu and Xuantong, namely the distribution pattern of banner men in Fengtian Jilin during the reign of Guangxu and Xuantong.Through sorting out the specific situation of the distribution of banner men in Fengtian Jilin,we can know that the banner men in Fengtian are mainly distributed in the 15 garrison cities and the central area of Fengtian Province, and Jilin Prefecture is the majority of the banner men in Jilin. As the two provinces of Fengji are mainly distributed in the above areas, criminal cases of flag men in this area are frequent. The second chapter makes a statistical analysis of the criminal cases of banner man in Northeast China at the end of Qing Dynasty and seeks their commonness to know the causes of the criminal cases of banner man.The social unrest in the late Qing Dynasty and the deterioration of livelihood of Banners in Fengji were the main reasons for the crimes committed by Banners in this area. The third chapter analyzes the progress and limitation of the judicial reform by comparing the trial process and punishment results of the standard man criminal cases before and after the official system reform in Northeast China in the late Qing Dynasty. After the official system reform in northeast China in the late Qing Dynasty, the ordinary standard man no longer had the exclusive judicial organization, and the ordinary standard man no longer had the privilege in law,and the ordinary standard man was gradually popularized.
