Study On The Evolution Of Eight Banners’ Military Functions In The Early Qing Dynasty

As the fundamental political system of the Qing Dynasty,the Eight Banners system was always accompanied by the Qing Dynasty.Many changes had taken place from its establishment to its disintegration,especially the military functions of the Eight Banners system before and after its entry into GATT.Before entering the GATT,the army,the government and the people were trinity.After entering the GATT,the military functions changed from military campaign to garrison,and affected the political and economic aspects of the eight banners.The study of the evolution of the Eight Banners’ military functions for the early Qing Dynasty is conducive to a deeper understanding of the Eight Banners system,and it benefits to the analysis of the Qing Dynasty’s thought of acting according to the situation and keeping pace with the times.On the basis of previous studies,this paper discusses the establishment of the Eight Banners system in detail and the change of military functions before and after its entry into GATT,then the influence brought by the change of military functions.And then sums up the Qing Dynasty flexible adaptability,they were good at learning ability and its influence and Enlightenment on later generations.In this paper,it should be mentioned this paper discusses from the establishment of Niulu in Nurhachi,that is,the establishment of the military aircraft department in the 29 th year of Wanli(1601),to the 10 th year of Yongzheng(1732).The first part,this paper discusses the establishment of the Eight Banners system and the expansion of the Eight Banners’ functions as the main research content,expounds the establishment of the Eight Banners system,the functions and expansion of the Eight Banners,and the role of the Eight Banners system.At the same time,it paves the way for the evolution of the Eight Banners’ functions after entering the GATT,and then sorts out the evolution process of the military functions of the Eight Banners in the early Qing Dynasty.The second part,this paper discusses the evolution of the military functions of the Eight Banners after the entry of the Qing army as the main research content,expounds the status of the military functions of the Eight Banners in the era outside the pass,and then details the specific evolution of the functions of the Eight Banners in various aspects.The third part this paper comprehensively summarizes the influence of the evolution of the military functions of the Eight Banners on the military achievements and economy,and expounds the reasons for the influences.The evolution of military functions of the Eight Banners resulted in the decline of the status of the military meritorious families and the economic change of the original integration of the army and agriculture.At the same time,it points out the advanced nature and the obstruction to the later stage.In a word,this paper combs the Eight Banners system through the existing historical materials,monographs,papers,and so on.By using historical methods,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the military functions of the Eight Banners in the early Qing Dynasty,sums up the way that the Qing Dynasty acted on the military functions of the Eight Banners according to the situation,and then analyzes the positive and negative effects on the later generations,historical reference and enlightenment.
