In recent years,there have been more and more researches on teacher identity.Teacher identity refers to teachers ’ in-depth perception and understanding of the identity and difference of self and the group to which they belong,and a sense of identity and belonging formed on this basis sense.With the continuous expansion of the overseas Chinese education market,the number of Chinese language teacher volunteers sent by our country has also increased year by year,and the group of volunteers has also attracted the attention of the academic community.There is still much work to be done regarding the development of this group.The 2019 new crown pneumonia epidemic has also had a considerable impact on this industry,and some volunteer Chinese language teachers have plans to change jobs.At present,there are many related researches on volunteer Chinese teachers who go to Thailand,but there are few researches on identity.Many volunteers have problems such as job burnout,teaching dilemma,and teaching anxiety.Volunteers of Chinese language teachers directly communicate with international students.The people in contact are the "media" of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.The development of volunteer Chinese teachers has a lot to do with the smooth progress of international Chinese education.Therefore,it is necessary to find out the factors that affect the identity of Chinese teachers and solve the unclear identity positioning To help Chinese teacher volunteers form a positive identity,only in this way can they mobilize their own enthusiasm,understand the nature of Chinese education,truly integrate into this group,and believe that being a Chinese teacher is happy and committed The development of Chinese international education has truly promoted Chinese to the world.This article comprehensively considers the meaning of identity,influencing factors,and optimization strategies,and decides to adopt the methods of questionnaire surveys,interviews,and case studies.Based on the theoretical basis of social psychology,teacher education,and social identity theory,61 Chinese teachers who go to Thailand Volunteers issue and collect questionnaires.The questionnaire is divided into four parts: basic personal information,professional identity,professional identity,and environmental identity.In order to make the research more reliable,4 volunteer teachers were randomly selected for interviews.A volunteer teacher conducts a case study.I hope to find out the factors that affect the identity of volunteer Chinese teachers and make suggestions.The investigation found that the factors that affect the identity of Chinese teacher volunteers include: inadequate system guarantees;low social recognition;low management and organization efficiency;disharmonious interpersonal relationships;poor living environment;insufficient personal ability;lack of a sense of belonging to the teaching school Wait.Based on the above factors,the author makes a few suggestions on how to improve the identity of Chinese language teacher volunteers: In terms of external factors,establish and improve volunteer-related policies to make volunteer projects increasingly perfect and protect the rights and interests of volunteers;In terms of internal factors,Improve the management system of volunteers,and try to create a school atmosphere where teachers are respected;individual teachers must improve their teaching ability and strengthen their beliefs.It can be concluded that the identity level of volunteer Chinese language teachers in Thailand is at a medium level,and there is no serious identity crisis at present,but most volunteer Chinese language teachers have not included this profession in their career plans,and their identity level There is still room for improvement.It is hoped that the research results of this thesis can give some enlightenment to Chinese teacher volunteers,let them clearly choose the purpose of their profession,train outstanding Chinese teacher volunteers,and really speed up the process of Chinese language teaching.
